My name is Valdemar Durán

I’m a visual designer and creative lead bridging the gap between brand marketing, retail signage, and immersive spatial environments. From crafting vibrant marketing campaigns to orchestrating the complete visual rollout for new store openings, I build clean, bold, and playful visual identities that command attention in the real world.

My work draws on an eclectic mix of influences—grounded in the elegance of Art Deco and Art Nouveau, energized by mid-century aesthetics, and shaped by the heavy, sculptural weight of architectural brutalism. Though I work primarily with digital tools, my design sensibility is deeply informed by scale, structure, and physical presence.

Outside the digital realm, you can find me at the wheel throwing brutalist ceramic pottery.
